I have not felt the slightest inclination to blog recently. I have been far too busy with work and plans for my holiday that i've hardly had time to sit back and breathe. My parents came back on tuesday evening, they had an amazing time over there and the contract my dad & the boss agreed on is a very good one apparently.
I go on holiday tomorrow and i tell you it hasn't come round soon enough. Theres so many things going on i just need this week away to chill out and relax!! Got my new suitcase yesterday too & its gorgeous! Its bright pink with Hawaiian flowers all over it! And i've got me Euros & suntan lotion sorted so thats the essentials lol! I have bought new CD's to take with me, Creamfields 10 years, Clubland Classix, and Sunset to Sunrise, and new headphones for the iPod, so i think i'm pretty much sorted really!!
Work has been so busy this week. Partially because i STILL have to audit all the work carried out by a guy who's been doing this job for 9 months now and still can't get it right, and partially becuase i've had to spend a lot of time designing and making a new 'user guide' for our team which tells you step by step how to do the job. Why? Because as C put it, "we're going to be screwed with you off, i can do half of it at least but K & S are useless." So true.
Oh and also i am now a fully registered Uni Student! I know i'm starting my degree a few years late, well, 3 to be exact, but i didn't want to do it before now, and if i look at it logically most of the people i know who DID degrees have now just graduated and are struggling to find decent jobs, whilst being saddles with thousands of pounds worth of student debt. I however have a fairly good job earning a (slightly above) average wage for my age, and am now starting to study for my degree and am having my courses paid for by the government as i am an OU student. Yay me!!

I have yet again been a so called 'domestic goddess' this week. As always when my parents go away on holiday, i tend to step up and take on most of the things that need doing. Bar ironing that is, i tend to leave that to my sister of course.
I have cleaned the kitchen, the dining room & the living room, today im doing my room. I've done all the shopping, had a bbq, done the washing and drying. I've done some cooking, had a friend round for drinks & cocktails, and also worked full-time. I would SO make a great housewife!!!
Last week i made roasted pork with baked apple rings, roast potatoes and pepper mash, baked mushrooms with garlic & cheese (for him, i can't stand mushrooms) and a yummy gravy. Go me.
And tonight is a nice 3 course dinner for me, the OH, the lil sis, her friend, and my cousin who i'm going away with next week. Oh im so excited, this time next week i'll be checking i have everything and getting ready to head to the airport...yay!! it had better be sunny over there, im going to be so disappointed if it isn't but knowing my luck it's bound to rain at some point lol!!

*cough cough*
I don't like not being well. Ok so i'm not seriously ill but i have a cough, a cold, aches and a headache. This is my first day off work sick in over 15 months ![]()
Oh the hilarity, i heard the binmen outside this morning, turned over to go back to sleep then thought "oh oh i haven't put the bin out!!" I had to jump out of bed, run downstairs ino the garden, run into the road with it and shout the guy to come back. Luckily they were only 4 houses down so he heard me!! How embarrassing though!
Looking on the bright side, i've watched many films in the last day and a half, have fixed tinterwebs, and (after i decided to mave and get dressed) will be partaking in a teeny tiny bit of DIY.
The inconsiderate sister had her friends round last nite. They got drunk. The problem is they get VERY loud and when im not well with a headache wouldn't you think she'd be a little bit considerate and go into the den instead!! Nope.... wouldn't move. Cow.
Momma & Poppa FINALLY got to Canada!! They were supposed to fly yesterday morning, but they had their flight time changed to the afternoon, but now they have to go Manchester - Bristol - Hamilton instead of direct from Manc to Hamilton!! Then they had their return flight time changed so they get home at night instead of the morning. But yesterday they had a half hour delay leaving Mancland, then a three hour delay at Bristol...remind me NEVER to fly with Globespan!!!

well hello there ![]()
For years and year we've had more of a birthweek that a birthday. I quite like it, it means you get to do lots of things with lots of people, get spoiled a lot, and nothing is too rushed or stressed coz you have DAYS to do it in.
This years birthweek started on Saturday. The OH took me to one of my favourite restaurants (The Alma De Cuba) for dinner an drinks. And i had a nice new dress to wear, but not the same one i was going to wear. This is it here. Anywho that was nice, and i had the nicest steak i've ever had in my life. Plus of course a Midnight Sunset which is the yummiest cocktail ever!
Tomorrow is my actual birthday, which will involve another meal, this time with the family as is our tradition. Thursday, out with Laura for a girly night, Saturday out with Sam & Clare for little Rachels leaving do. She's off to Oz for a year. Im not jealous honest!! So all in all its a nice little week planned for me. Just got to find time in between working and going out to actually sleep now!!
xx

I actually cant believe its been a whole week now since i went to the rugby, or in fact, that its the weekend again so soon!!! Im kinda jealous, a friend from work laft today because she's going to Oz for a year. It made me think of all the plans i have for my future. About all the places i want to see and the things i want to do. Someday, somehow, i will get there and i will achieve the things i want to.
The rugby last week was absolutely amazing. Im really starting to get into now i think lol. The atmosphere at the game was great, and there was a lot less trouble that at the football.
Oh well, im looking forward to being taken out for my pre-birthday meal tomorrow night even if he wont tell me where we're going, and im also really excited about going to see La Princess this weekend too!!!
